Chocolate of the Times
Chocolate is in the news. The last bastion of intellectual journalism in America, the
New York Times
, even has an
online search category dedicated to chocolate
. Last week, the
Times
covered the
brew-haha over evidence of Central American cacao fermentation
dating back to 1100 BC. And a couple of weeks ago, the travel section included a piece about
artisanal chocolate in Tuscany
, which featured an inviting photo of
Amedei's
rustic headquarters in Pontedera.
Subscribers to the Sunday
Times
will find at least seventeen mentions of chocolate in today's edition, in stories that touch on
vegan cupcakes in Jersey
and
molecular gastronomy in Basque country
.
