Chocolate Reminder: Food Destinations Deadline is Next Week

October 30 is the deadline for entries in Chocolate in Context's premiere blogging event, Food Destinations #3: My Favorite Chocolate Shop. Any and all are encouraged to participate, and prizes will go to the writers of the most compelling entries. The rules are quite simple: visit your favorite chocolate shop, write about the experience on your blog, and email me the link to your post before Monday, October 30.

If you need some inspiration, ChocoLocate keeps a database of chocolate purveyors in 41 countries and every state of the (US) union. A website called the Fish Bowl also provides remarkably detailed chocolate maps of New York, and the newly-debuted Chocomap even uses satellite technology to keep tabs on chocolatiers and candy stores the world over.
